Lakes Area Community Band
About Us
In 1988 LACB was founded by Tom Erlenborn and the Lakes Area Music Center. Today we continue as a volunteer community band directed by Steve Porch serving the Lakes Area Community. Our members include residents of Antioch, Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, Grayslake, Gurnee, Southeastern Wisconsin communities, and more. We perform in Lake County, IL and Southeastern Wisconsin at farmer's markets, holiday celebrations, and community concerts. We are passionate about music and sharing music with our families and community. Whether you love marches, Broadway musicals, or solo features we have the music for you! We are always looking for new members! No audition is necessary, but members should have previous band experience.
